DC Magazine

Sometime over the summer, I was asked by a friend -- the one most responsible for getting my foot in the music-shooting door -- if I'd be up for shooting some promo pictures. The pictures were of Evan Bliss and Vasi, two musicians who were about to record a few tracks together. As any experience is good experience, I gladly accepted the offer, took a series of shots and that was that.

Fast forward to early November, when I got an e-mail from the founder of Holster Records, a DC-based label that is responsible for the aforementioned artists. DC Magazine was looking to do an article on him, he said, and they wanted to include a few of my pictures rather than do a whole new photoshoot.

Of course I said yes, and after a few weeks of waiting, the latest issue is in stores and yours truly has pictures in an article on page 56. It's my first time having pictures in a magazine, so I'm obviously pretty stoked.

You can see the digital version of the magazine here.
