Cooking with MJLphoto, Take One

Food photography is definitely an artform and one that I have little to no experience with (aside, you can say, from these few pictures). Regardless, it's something I'd like to do every once in a while just to keep things fresh.

The first two pictures below are of a meal we prepared on Sunday -- pork tenderloin served with a homemade blackberry sauce and garlic mashed potatoes. The next two, if you can't tell, are of barbecue chicken pizza -- a store-bought Boboli mini crust, Sweet Baby Ray's, grilled chicken, chopped red onion and a mixture of four cheeses. The final picture is of a salad consisting of spinach leaves, diced apples, blackberries and goat cheese served with a balsamic vinaigrette (which had yet to be added when the picture was taken).

Bon app├ętit!

Cheese on top of the chicken…very unorthodox! But in the end I guess it all tastes the same, right?
