Cleaning out the iPhone

I don't take a lot of pictures with my phone, but every once in a while I'll find myself wanting to capture something and, when I'm without a "real" camera, sometimes these grainy little masterpieces will have to do. Most are purely random, yet some actually served a purpose (whether it was to e-mail a quick picture to someone or whatever).

As you can see, I'm clearly struggling for material right now. The NHL Playoffs are consuming a lot of my time, but I've got a show lined up for Monday night, so I'll at least have one new post (hopefully more) next week...

A friend's basement (he started a company that sells and restores surfboards):

The view from my office (L) and a homeless man in Chinatown (R). I can't remember the book that he was reading, but its title was part of the reason I took the picture. Too bad I couldn't make it out due to the low resolution:

Self-portrait in a storefront on the way to work:

The BrightestYoungThings re-launch party (L) where I had some pictures hanging. Before Game 5 of last year's Caps / Flyers playoff series (R):

Redskins vs. Cardinals the day after my bachelor party. It was hot and we were in the second-to-last row of the biggest stadium in the NFL. It was a blast, but seriously, it was a painful afternoon:

My nephew supporting the team (L) and a house I designed under construction (R):

Coldplay live at the Verizon Center on Halloween night:

A corner in the Adams Morgan section of DC during the holidays. That there is a "Festivus" board where people were encouraged to leave post-it notes as a way to air their grievances. I didn't have a chance to stop and check them out, but I'm sure it was quite amusing:

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals at the "Young Lawyers For Obama" Inaugural Ball:

Waiting for the "We Are One" concert to start (L) and the mogul set-up at the VISA International Ski Competition in Park City, Utah (R):

Inauguration Day in DC:

Along the shore of the Chesapeake Bay:

Black Kids at the 9:30 Club:

Maryland vs. Duke:

Some issues at the Bethesda Metro Station:

The Dead at the Verizon Center:

A hotel across the street from my office building:
