Welcome (again)!

Well hello there. Welcome to the MJLphotoblog. It's nice to see you. If you've been here before, welcome back. If you haven't, let me tell you a bit about what goes on.

The concept is really quite simple: I take some pictures every once in a while and post them for you. Why? Because I'm nice, that's why. And also because I like sharing what I do, even if I'm the only one who thinks it's worth anything.

The reason for this re-introduction is also simple: I want to let you know that I'm going to do my damndest to post content on a more regular basis. One of the things that's going to help me do that is the CameraBag app for my iPhone. It's hard to take, edit and post pictures from my dSLR in a really timely fashion, so my goal is to take more "everyday" shots and share them with you, my faithful followers. You know -- keep things fresh.

If you've never been here before but like what you see, it would certainly be swell if you came back. If you don't like what you see, feel free to tell me what you don't like about it. Seriously, all feedback is much appreciated.

The first iPhone shot below is from Rock The Bells, a hip-hop festival I attended yesterday at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. I shot the show for DCist and will post plenty of juicy pictures from my real camera at some point in the next 24 hours, but for now, I thought I'd share this little gem.

That's it. Enjoy (or don't).
