Another relaxing week on Lake Winnipesaukee

For the past 29 years, my family and I (and most of my cousins, aunt, uncles, etc.) have vacationed at Sandy Island Family Camp in New Hampshire. Located on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, Sandy Island is a great place to kick back, relax and not worry about anything for a week.

No cars, no cooking -- you arrive by boat and eat all major meals in a dining hall. Fishing, kayaking, wakeboarding, tennis, bocce, arts + crafts, sailing, reading, sleeping -- there is literally no shortage of things to do (or not do, which is what makes it great).

Below are a few pictures taken while there. For a larger version of the panoramic picture -- taken during the traditional singing on Thursday night of "That's Amore" -- click here... and for a bunch more (mostly people-related) shots from the week, feel free to visit the Flickr set.

Hope you said hello to Dr. Leo Marvin up there!

Did you know "What About Bob?" wasn't actually filmed on Winnipesaukee? It's true. It was filmed on a lake in West Virginia... they must've just really liked the name.
