Catching Up: Assateague Island Nat'l Seashore, more trapeze, Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Iran rally

It's been a while since I've posted any pictures, and I have to admit that it's nobody's fault but my own. Every time I have intentions of getting out there (and subsequently sitting down and editing the files that are on my computer), something else seems to come up.

Trust me, though, it's not for a lack of interest -- I'm always wanting to take more pictures, there's just never enough time. Anyway, below are some shots that have been marinating on my hard drive, the first two of which are from a short camping trip a couple of weeks ago to the Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland.

I always like taking out my camera while traveling in a car (whether as a passenger, or, if I'm feeling daring, while driving) -- there's something about trying to capture a view at high speeds that appeals to me. The picture below was taken while crossing over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in late August.

Finally, I was walking around downtown DC in early July and stumbled upon a march/rally for democracy in Iran (a result of the controversial election that became headline news throughout the world a month before). Below is certainly not the most interesting shot, but I wanted to share it anyway, as events like these happy quite often living in our Nation's capital.
