Cooking with MJLphoto: brunch and stuffed chicken

It's been a while since I've had the chance to go out and shoot anything -- as you may've noticed -- so to fill the void, I thought I'd post a few pictures of some cooking that's been done in the MJLphoto household in the past few months.

Made for a brunch we hosted were individual quiches, some with goat cheese, tomato slices, spinach leaves and portobello mushrooms; others with sausage, cheddar cheese, onions and diced tomatoes. Both were served with a nice spread of biscuits, yogurt, granola and, of course, plenty of champagne and orange juice.

Another brunch -- this time for just the two of us -- featured one of our favorites. Poaching an egg takes quite a bit of practice, but when it's done right, Eggs Benedict is a great meal, especially when topped off with Tony Cachere's Original Creole Seasoning.

Finally, we have chicken saltimbocca, a dish we made recently (and I use the word "we" very loosely) -- chicken stuffed with prosciutto, spinach and parmesan cheese. Buon appetito!
